Inlays & Onlays

Inlays and onlays can be a solid intermediate restorative solution between a filling and a crown. An inlay fills a larger portion of the biting surface than a filling contained within the cusp (the rounded edge of your tooth); an onlay fills and covers the biting surface of your tooth including up and over the cusps. Inlays and onlays can prevent the need for removal of healthy tooth structure as is required with crowns and can strengthen and fortify the tooth back to health.
